Hard gel is a type of builder gel. It can be for short, medium or long natural nails. A hard gel overlay will go over your natural nails, no nail enhancements.

GelX extensions have a built in Apex for long wear a durability, although, they can still be soaked off. Sometimes if you are rougher on your nails you’d prefer to have them a little thicker, just not as thick and strong as hard gel. Adding a soft gel overlay will give you the perfect feeling of not as thin as gel x but not as thick as acrylic!

Hard Gel Fill

A builder gel fill is a maintenance appointment where existing builder gel is refreshed instead of completely removed. Also used to perform fills on a gel-x full set💅 Here’s exactly what that means in simple terms: What a builder gel fill is • Performed 2–4 weeks after the original builder gel set • The old builder gel is partially filed down, not soaked off completely • New builder gel is applied to: • Rebuild the apex • Cover new growth • Restore strength and balance What happens during the service 1. Shorten and reshape the nails 2. File down bulk and remove lifting 3. Cuticle prep 4. Apply builder gel to the regrowth area 5. Rebuild structure (apex) 6. Apply gel color or top coat 7. Gel X Repair

$1/nail. Gelx that has broke/lifted AFTER 2 weeks. Fills should be booked around the 2 week mark to avoid breaking or lifting, if a repair is needed within the 2 weeks, I will repair free of charge!

Builder/Soft Gel Fill

$2/nail. For Hard Gel lifts/breakage or natural nail that needs to be extended/reshaped. Fills should be booked within 2 weeks. If a repair is needed before the 2 week mark than it is FREE. Over 2 week fill repairs will be charged.
